1942 Maryland License Plates

These antique Maryland automobile passenger plates were issued by the state Department of Motor Vehicles and are graded in Very Good Minus condition. The color of these vintage car tags is silver with black lettering and outline and have 3-31 Maryland 1942 at the top with the DMV registration number of 572-642 in the center and DRIVE CAREFULLY stamped across the bottom. The state of Maryland issued both front and rear tags in 1942 and the photo above shows the actual World War II era license plates that are for sale.
