A rare pair of West Virginia World War II License plates. These are complete, both 1942 license plates and the matching number 1943 metal tags that were used for 1943, during World War II. It is rare to have the complete set of both plates and the matching 1943 tags. The license plates grade good minus, they have W. Va. at the bottom along with the exp date of 6-30-42. The metal tags have the same license plate number and at the bottom says ext. to 6-30-43. In additon to being a complete 1942 and 1943 set these license plates have the added bonus of being a low number which is 213. The picture shows the actual West Virginia License Plates that are for sale.
