Slogans on Tag - MISS is on the license plate itself at the top, on the anti theft strip at the top, there is a B which stands for the weight class, B stood for a car between 1800 to 3000 pounds and then the date of 33 is on the right side of the strip.

Condition - unused excellent condition, with some paper stuck to the tag, the anti theft strip is not in nearly good shape, it will only grade good.
Back of License Plate - dark green and in excellent shape with paper sticking.

Notes - Mississippi experimented for a few years in the 1930s with these anti theft strips to keep people being able to steal license plates off of cars. This is one of those examples from 1933, which was the first year of the experiment, they were used up until 1936. The picture shows the actual antique 1933 license plate that is for sale. The original wrapper is also with this tag from Joe S. Price the State Auditor of the Motor Vehicle Registration Dept at Jackson Mississippi.
